iPhone 5c & iPhone 5s

In case you didn't know, I've been an iPhone user for the past couple of years and have been lucky enough to experience the joys of advancing from an iPhone 3gs to an iPhone 5. Doug uses a 4s so safe to say, we're quite well versed in what life is like with an iPhone.

Here are 2 new phones they've launched - the 5c and 5s. And here's a simple overview.

iPhone 5c for the colorful - if you ain't a colorful person, YOU CANNOT BUY THIS!
Colorful - so that you don't lose that damn phone ever again.
A6 chip - load more than one app a time and it still runs.
Ultrafast Wireless - who doesn't like to hear that but it still depends on the speed of our WIFI doesn't it?
8MP iSight camera - the 5 also has 8MP camera. OK next.
4-inch Retina display - the 5 also 4-inch. Next.
New camera app - so that it beats your normal one?
iOS 7 - the 5 can download iOS7 too!
New colors - green, blue, pink, white and yellow.

Pre-order for the iPhone 5C starts 13th September 2013 in the USA from $99*.

iPhone 5s forward thinking - only if your brains can take it.
Touch ID - for people like Doug who doesn't put his phone down even when he is eating.
A7 chip - gives you CPU and graphics performance up to twice as fast as the A6 chip.
M7 coprocessor - faster, more powerful without draining battery life.
iSight camera - it says on apple.com that the camera is just better than the 5 in so many ways.
FaceTime HD Camera - now your grandma can take a good HD version look at you before she eats you.
Ultrafast Wireless - not sure how fast can our phone go when our lovable UNIFI has slowed down alot.
iOS7 - which can be updated on the iPhone 5 as well.
Built-in apps - since downloading apps are no longer in trend.
New colors - gold, silver and space grey.

Pre-order for the iPhone 5S starts 20th September 2013 in the USA from $199*.

I think it's safe to say that apart from the fingerprint scanner, there's nothing else too interesting about these 2 new phones. And no one will care much about the coloured casings because everyone buys aftermarket casings anyway, right?

But after all, this is just a facelift, and people are still going to buy them. At the same time though, there seems to be many people complaining. Let's just hope that the iPhone 6 will do enough to win back Apple fans.

Here's a link to Apple if you need it.
