Here is the reason for you to skip breakfast and lunch during Sundays. Have the brunch of your life at Prego like I did during my birthday week! Boy, I couldn't move when the cheese platter came but I still went on. Talk about pigging out.
I would really recommend this if you're a foodie at heart. There's no where in KL you'll be able to find such a wide selection of brunch, made fresh, served fresh and most of all you can eat as much as you like without ever getting off your chair! Oh, and a glass of champagne to accompany your brunch, fantastic!
Here all all the dishes that I've tried that weekend and my most favorite dish was the Aglio Oglio and for dessert was Prego's Signature Tiramisu. Even if you're not going for the brunch, gather your girlfriends and have a plate of their Tiramisu. Absolutely-To-Die-For.

CAD Cafe | Haji Lane
CAD Cafe is all about Coffee, Art & Design. A cozy corner in the middle of Haji Lane serves as a rest stop for us during our visit to this renowned artsy place. Here, backpackers and tourists were seen taking in shade from the heat, sipping a cup of cappuccino and having a bite from their home baked sandwiches - which they are quite famous for.

Omakase Burger | The Grandstand
You'd love a trip to The Grandstand if you're visiting Singapore. Not only that it has a wide variety of food choices, it has a pretty quaint place like PasarBella too. Read more about PasarBella here.
We wanted something Western that night, so we decided on Omakase Burger which is just at the entrance of PasarBella because there were quite a few customers compared to another burger joint called Do It Yourself Burger.
As we weren't hungry after snacking at PasarBella, we shared a burger between the 3 of us. The owner was kind enough to slice the burger into half for us.
Bacon Cheeseburger SGD15.90 | Signature cheeseburger topped with high quality American bacon smoked in natural hardwood.
A side of Cheese Fries SGD5.90 for their regular portion | Smothered with home-made cheese sause. Highly addictive.
I thought it was okay. Nothing special. Everything tasted like Carls Jr to me. Doug thought it was good. Actually every burger in the world tastes good to him. Charles didn't comment. One thing that was rightly written on their menu was that the fries was addictive. Couldn't stop eating them. They had Truffle Fries in their menu too and it seems that Truffle fries are everywhere in Singapore. Plus it is a cheap indulgence for Singaporeans because one regular portion of Truffle Fries at Omakase Burger is only SGD6.90.
After dinner, we walked around The Grandstand for some photos. Loved how the place is unique at every corner.

Le Midi Restaurant | Bangsar Shopping Centre
Let's steal you away from my Singapore posts for a while and feast your eyes upon these delicious food prepared by Le Midi Restaurant at Bangsar Shopping Centre.
I was invited to accompany Doug for a food feature at Le Midi. They were doing it for an issue on Autogridz and I am glad I got to taste their uniquely crafted dishes which I thought were delicious. Unfortunately though, I went over to their website and most of these food we've tasted that day didn't seem to be on their menu anymore. Hence, this is a food post where it is purely pictures of food. Perhaps this will then give you an idea of what kind of food they serve.
"Whether you seek a long, luxurious dinner, a swift yet satisfying lunch or simply a chilled place to enjoy a drink after a long day, Le Midi is an ideal location in which to let your cares melt away as you indulge in a true taste of Mediterranean hospitality and cuisine." - Le Midi
Took a picture with lovely Sharmayne. Always a pleasure to be around her. :)

The Countryside Cafe | Dunlop Street
The Countryside Cafe has been around for 7 years and I can't believe we were lucky enough to stumble upon such a charming place. This place was 3 mins walk from where we were staying in Little India. Charles wanted a drink, so we went to the nearest place we could find. Beers were pretty cheap from SGD6 a glass. Backpackers and their regulars were seen enjoying a glass or two.
Checked out the reviews on Tripadvisor and plenty of tourists loved hanging out at the cafe. Perhaps I should say, pub by night, breakfast bar by day. The owner mentioned that they are the only ones who serve western breakfast in Little India. Perhaps there were too many foreigners that the demand was there.
