The Body Shop Sale!
These were at 50% off. Tell me how to resist them?! I wanted to buy the whole shop that night. Oh, The Body Shop sale is on until 7th Nov. You're welcome. :D
PINK GRAPEFRUIT BODY SCRUB | LOVE the scent, texture and how it felt so good on my skin. Mini size so that I can bring it with me while I travel abroad :P
SAKURA PUREE BODY LOTION | I'm quite a sucker for light floral scent. So, this was my favorite of the lot and I love it. Although I won't be using it so soon, I am looking forward to smelling like Sakura flowers. :D
HEAVENLY SHOWER GEL | I've been looking for Lavender scented shower gel or body lotion for such a longgggggggggg time and I finally got it! Body products with lemongrass or lavender scent aren't cheap and that was the main reason I was holding back. RM7 for this bottle, I grabbed two without even pondering if I should do so. Love love love using it. I just love anything that smells like a spa would. :)

CAD Cafe | Haji Lane
CAD Cafe is all about Coffee, Art & Design. A cozy corner in the middle of Haji Lane serves as a rest stop for us during our visit to this renowned artsy place. Here, backpackers and tourists were seen taking in shade from the heat, sipping a cup of cappuccino and having a bite from their home baked sandwiches - which they are quite famous for.

{ADV} K-Palette Zero Tema BB Cream
I think I've finally found the PERFECT, lightest, and smoothest BB Cream/Foundation ever to bring over to Europe!
I've recently gotten my hands on K-Palette Zero Tema BB Cream in Natural Color. Like anything new, I decided to give it a try during the weekend before I headed out and I was simply amazed that it was really smooth and light during application. If you're one of those who are continuously seeking for a foundation that is so light, yet has the right amount of coverage, seek no more. This one is the one. Trust me. I love it!
Anyway, I did a little research on the net of what BB Cream is all about and this was what I found.
"BB Cream stands for blemish balm, blemish base, beblesh balm (apparently because of a trademark in Korea on the word "blemish"), and in Western markets, beauty balm. BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation and sunblock. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage." - wikipedia.org
I've always had trouble finding the right tone for my skin and amazingly, K-Palette Zero Tema BB Cream in Natural (02) goes extremely well with mine. Perhaps it's the perk of it being made in Japan. Asians understand Asians :D
It comes in this ridiculously sweet pink shade that I adore so much. Starting to love the color pink this month because Clothes For Fun is running Pink October in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month. So, I'm also going to tie this with Breast Cancer Awareness, since it is pink, right. Remember to go for your yearly screening. LOVE YOUR BOOBIES!
It acts as a foundation, moisturizer (this is my no.1 priority in beauty products! no more flaky skin), make up base, beauty essence, sunscreen SPF30 PA++ (also super important in a beauty product) and it gives your face a radiantly glowing effect. Everything in one small tube which you can conveniently place in your handbag or clutch (think tea parties or club nights for touch ups).
Also, always make sure that products applied onto your face is EASILY washable. If it takes loads and loads of make up remover, it only means one thing. The product clogs your pores.
Good thing is, K-Palette Zero Tema BB Cream can be easily removed with any face cleanser. And this means, it DOESN'T CLOG YOUR PORES which is SUPERB!
Everything that was used to produce this cream was carefully thought of. K-Palette Zero Tema BB Cream is also fragrance-free, parabens-free, mineral oil-free and synthetic dye-free which means they only use NATURAL INGREDIENTS so that it works gently on your skin.
I know, most of you would have gone "What is Paraben?". I also did some research on that and here's what I found.
"Parabens are a class of chemicals widely used as preservatives by cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Parabens can, however, cause skin irritation and contact dermatitis and rosacea in individuals with paraben allergies. Studies indicate that methylparaben applied on the skin may react with UVB leading to increased skin aging and DNA damage." - wikipedia.org
SO, any product with parabens-free written all over it is GOOD FOR YOU.
What I actually love most about the K-Palette Zero Tema BB Cream is the PEARLY INGREDIENT. Being Asian, we typically have really beige or light skin tone which comes off as dull during bad-skin days and this is where the awesome Pearly ingredient thing comes to good use. It miraculously brightens up your skin! NO MORE BAD-SKIN DAYS!
K-Palette Zero Tema BB Cream in Light & Natural Color are available at selected SASA outlets at RM59.90/each. Try it out now!
To know more about this product, you'll have to visit K-Palette Malaysia on Facebook because I've literally told you everything I know and love about it. :)

Clothes For Fun October 2013 Collection #1
Woke up really early on Wednesday to shoot Clothes For Fun's October 2013 collection #1. Oh, I own the blogshop actually. Not doing it as a side job or anything like that. I got asked a few times by other people LOL. One really funny thing that happened was that I actually got a comment on one of the photos asking me to "Kembalilah kepada Islam" with a crying emoticon attached. Not really sure how I should react to that because I AM CHINESE, YO!
Anyway, I began Clothes For Fun back in 2007 by shooting the clothes with a half bodied mannequin, then it went to me modeling with face but without make up, then it went to me modeling without my face and then it went to mannequin BUT now I've decided to just model it in full length because it looks so much more professional and I actually love doing it.
Anyway, if you didn't already know, below are some of this month's collection #1.

The 27TH MEOW Birthday Party
This has been a great month so far. I went to Koh Samui for the first time for a little birthday getaway with the husband and what was even more awesome was that I came back to a surprise birthday party, all catified by my one and only silly goose, Kylee. :D
The story behind all this started a month ago when she thought of the idea. The idea to have a Cat Themed Birthday Party for me and she did all the decorations and DIYed almost EVERYTHING for that night. We were supposed to have a girls night celebration for me, or so I thought but instead it was a celebration with everyone wearing cat ears hairbands and hand drawn whiskers.
Her mommy cooked super delicious chilli to go with really good pork sausages. Aside from that, home-made salad, wedges with mayo dip, garlic bread from RT, fish shaped biscuits! (can you believe that girl?!), and specially made Long Island Tea cocktail by Tze in a tower just because I love that drink.
We had a great time playing charades, drinking and camwhoring (the girls..ahahaha). My cake was from Naomi and she bought this really cute cake with a chocolate bear on top. Plus, she knew I love coffee cakes so she also bought another mini cake in coffee flavor. I felt so spoilt. LOL.
Till today, I really can't believe that I have friends who take the effort to make my birthday a special one for me. Real friends are hard to find. Many will tell you that.
So, THANK YOU all for being there for my 27th birthday celebration. Love you guys! and you know I love you my silly goose. Thank you for throwing this party for me. No one has ever done this for me, to the extend of spending the whole day decorating your patio with self made cat lanterns and having us wear your handmade cat ears hairband. Even to the extend of finding fish biscuits just cos you know, cats love fish. LOL. :D xoxo
I suppose having a cat themed birthday party can be ticked off my bucket list. HAHAHA!
BY THE WAY, if you ever need anything personalized as a gift, or you find yourself looking for wedding favors that are specially made for your wedding, look for Kylee. She owns Craft Kitchen and she is the perfect person for you to go to for all these stuff. Check her page out at Craft Kitchen Facebook Page. She was the one who did my wedding guestbook, bridesmaids gifts and cookie bar for my wedding and I loved everything that she did!
